STEP 1: Request Your Records
Contact your current provider and ask for a copy of your prescription and sleep study results. Providers are required to release these records to you upon request. In addition, we will also require your current physician’s visit notes.
STEP 2: Provider Sends Prescription
Your prescription typically transfers as a document from your prior provider or physician's office — either directly to your new provider or through you.
STEP 3: New Provider Reviews Your File
Your new provider checks that your existing sleep study, physician visit notes, and prescription meets your insurer's coverage requirements — usually eliminating the need for a repeat sleep test.
STEP 4: Coverage is Confirmed
Once your file is reviewed, your new provider verifies your insurance coverage and schedules your first shipment or setup.
